Christina was married to Josephine’s eldest brother, Edwin Parnell Muntz (1867–1933). They were married in 1888 and had four children, including Mabel Josephine and Kathleen Frances.
As an engineer, Edwin’s work took him to various parts of Australia, where Josephine visited and captured in her paintings. Christina is said to be the woman depicted in Josephine’s painting The Afghan Trader.
